Brad and I married on August 31, 1982 in the Oakland, California Temple. We live in Alpine, Ut. and absolutely love it here. We have 5 beautiful children and 4 handsome grandsons. When will we ever get any GRANDDAUGHTER'S???
I can't believe that it has been 4 years since my Mom's passing! There has been so much that has happened in those 4 yrs. Mom missed seeing the births of my 4 grandsons- Dawson, Brayden, Jordan, & Camden! I am hoping that she got to say goodbye to them and give them some sort of instruction before they left our Heavenly Father and joined their parents here on earth!! Mom always had something to teach. I'm sure she told them how wonderful their families are and to "be good" little boys. She missed Paul & Ashley's wedding, Tyler leaving and returning from a 2 yr mission in Hong Kong, Emily leaving for college and David learning how to play the piano and turning 16! I've missed being able to just call her or going over to her house just to talk about things that I am concerned about or to ask her how to cook something, to ask her opinion on something, and just to hear her wise council. It wasn't fair to loose my mom so early on in life. I am grateful to have had such a wonderful Mom. I love you Mom & look forward to that day when I see you again!!!~
where did you get all these wonderful pictures? ;) man I miss granny! But I am glad I have you. And I am sure that my kids will look up to you like we did to grandma
Man, after reading your post I am a total mess. I'm seriously crying my eyes out because I love my mom so much and I call her at least every other day. I need her just like I'm sure you needed your mom. It's so hard to imagine losing her but I am so grateful for the gospel and that I am sealed to my Mom and to grandma as well. Thank you for this beautiful post, Donna.
