Quick "get away" to St. George

We had a fun time this weekend in St. George & Cedar City. We went to a SUU Soccer Banquet with Emily on Saturday night. We usually stay at Dad and Nelda's home in Washington but it was being used by other family member's this weekend so we stayed with Dave & Aimee in the Jardine's newly remodeled condo. Brad had a fun time golfing with Dave while Aimee, her boys, Emily, David, Elena (our foreign exchange student from Norway) & I went shopping. It was nice to be down south and enjoying the warmer weather! I am really looking forward to Spring after being there. It was kind of a bummer to come back home to snow on the ground here in Alpine.

Dawson was having fun hiding the pine cones in the bushes while David was trying to keep him out of the mud. We were loading up the car with our bags to drive back home and David did a good job keeping Dawson entertained.

We were all packed and just waiting for Dave J. to check on last minute things in the condo. It felt so good outside!
Dawson posed quickly for Grandma. He didn't really want to look up.....he was too busy watching "Thomas the Train" on Aimee's iPhone.

The boys were ready for church and just waiting for the rest of us to get ready.

These are a couple of Emily's soccer friend's. Actually the girl in the black & red is also her room mate. (The two of them have way too much fun.) We had just finished with the banquet and getting ready to head back down to St. George.

Looks like a fun little "vay-cay" ..wish we lived closer. But you can always get away from the snow and come here ;) I know you would LOVE that!
