Another quick trip

Brad and I decided the last minute to drive to Arizona to watch Emily play soccer. We were having such a hard time trying to decide if we should go because it would be such a long drive for such a quick trip! Brad came home last Thursday night and asked me what I thought we should do. I told him I would support him in whatever he decided to do. So he then said, " Let's flip a coin and if it's heads, we'll go and if it's tails we will stay home." Brad is so funny!! David was listening to this whole crazy idea and told his Dad that no matter what the coin lands on, he would still want to go and regret not going if we didn't. I totally agreed with David and told Brad we should just go! Oh don't worry...we never flipped a coin, Brad knew that David was right and went with my "go ahead". We were packed in an hour and on the road! We were excited to watch Emily play because we knew that she would have a lot of playing time now that the seniors were not on the team anymore. SUU didn't win any games but played well and played some good schools. I think it was a good experience for Emily and the rest of her team. Brad and I had a fun time and we are so glad we went. We stopped along the way and took some pictures. One of our stops was at the hoover dam. (I had never been there before.) Then of course I had to stop and take a picture next to the HUGE cactus! You don't know how big they are until you stand next to them. Brad and I look forward to more games and I am sure I will have many more stories to tell about our decisions on going to them or not!
