Check it out "dog'!!

Aimee, Dawson & I went to the Grand Opening of the new Walmart in Cedar Hills yesterday. David came across the street from school at his lunch hour and visited us while we were there. Dawson had a fun time seeing "Tony the Tiger" or Tigger as Dawson called him , and the Easter Bunny. As we checked out the new store we were offered many samples which was great because we hadn't had our lunch yet. We also got to see Alyse Shattuck while she was still there working in the Bakery. She had been there since 3 AM! Some of our freebie samples were--Rice Krispy Treats, cake, ice cream, chips & dip, & a soccer ball! Now please note that all the food was BITE SIZE pieces!! Hey, it was still yummy. As we were leaving the store we were still offered more freebies. Come on now, did you really think we were full from those small samples? We got chocolate milk from Cream of Weber and a hot dog from Oscar Mayer. Well right next to the hot dogs was this great car that we just had to have a picture taken by it. Can you tell that we had a fun day at Walmart?? Shoot...we were there for 2 hours!

Fun times at Wally's! Hey, they have another freebie give away day tommorrow! Maybe I'll see you there! Tonight (yeah, it's 2am) there was a big TWILIGHT party at midnight. The story was crazy full of crazed women buying the movie with a bunch of teens as tweens. It was a blast. They even had a little area set up all decorated to watch the movie. Liz and I went to check it out (and buy Qtips.) :-)

I love how you forgot that sweet little Jordan was with us on our little trip! Anyway we did have a great time spending the day at Wal Mart! (after the high school kids left!)
