A couple of days in Vegas!

Emily had her last Spring game with SUU this week in Las Vegas. Brad and I drove to St. George the night before to stay at Dad & Nelda's home before driving on to Vegas. This picture of me is in front of the home. We LOVE staying here when we come to any of Emily's games. It makes it so nice and easy for us to attend so many of them!

Before we left for Vegas I had the FUN opportunity to watch my "Lehi" grandson's. Dave & Aimee went to Chicago on Friday for Dave's work. Grandma Lana watched the boys until Sunday and I watched them until Tuesday. We left for our trip a couple of hours after Dave & Aimee picked up the boys. Can I just say that the boys were sooo good for me and I LOVE them like CRAZY!

These pictures were taken right after Emily's game. Suu lost to UNLV but played a great game! It is always fun when Emily has a game in Vegas because Brad's sister Angie can come. She lives about 20 minutes from UNLV.

Here are some of her team/room mates~

After the game we went to our hotel at Encore to have dinner. We went to a Japanese restaurant and Brad & I got some Sushi and Em got some noodles with steak. After dinner we did a little walking around and got Emily some gelato while Brad & I shared some sorbet. :)

This picture was taken from our hotel room looking down at the pools. Our last day there, we took time to swim & lay by the pool before we left. The weather was so nice and warm in Vegas!

This picture was looking from our door into our hotel room. It was probably one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. It had amazing views from those windows you see down the hall.

It was good to get home after our short little get away and 6 hr drive. Now I am looking forward to my next little trip to the South to see my "Alabama" grandson's! ...You better have some fun things planned Ash! j/k ~I am so looking forward in seeing Brayden and Camden that it won't matter what we are doing. :)

Thanks Ash for telling me that! I need to hear it because when I look in the mirror I still feel like I look SO FAT! I was so bummed to look at myself with my bathing suit on this trip. I still have a ways to go. But things are getting more loose on me that's for sure. I guess that's what keeps me going. :)
